To teach your baby to a specific mode of the day is quite easy and simple. After all, the day is not as varied as we say in a schoolboy. The basis of the child's day from 1 to 3 years is feeding, walking and sleeping. And when all the procedures are performed from day to day at a certain time, it gives the child a feeling of confidence and calm.

Sleeping mode

If the child observes the regime and sleeps during the day and falls in time in the evening, this is a great merit of the mother.

1 year.By the end of the first year of life, the sleep duration of children is reduced to 15 hours a day by reducing daytime sleep. At night, the baby sleeps just as long.

2 years.From the end of the first year of life, a child can sleep only once a day. And wakefulness time increases to 5-6 hours in a row.

3 years.After two years, the child sleeps during the day at an average of about two hours and can stay awake for up to 12 hours a day.

  • Put the baby to bed at the same time.

1-1,5 years.At this age, the number of meals a child should be 4 times a day at intervals of 3-4 hours. Then the child is usually awake, and then asleep until the next feeding.

1, 5-3 years. The child should still be eating 4 times a day, but already with an interval of 3.5-4 hours.Breakfast should be no later than an hour after waking up, since the period of a night’s sleep is rather long. Dinner should also be at least an hour before bedtime.

Wakefulness mode

1-1,5 years.The duration of the periods of wakefulness at this age should not exceed 4 - 4.5 hours. Lengthening wakefulness or shortening sleep is undesirable; it can lead to fatigue of the nervous system and impaired behavior of the child.

The organization of outdoor walks twice a day (after lunch and afternoon snack) is very important.

1.5-2 years.Periods of continuous wakefulness in this age group increase from 5 to 5.5 hours. A walk with the child should continue to walk 2 times a day, after breakfast and snack.

2-3 years.Each waking period takes 6-6.5 hours. A child at this age is already able to restrain his actions and desires for a short time, however, he is still easily excited and tired from the monotonous activity.

Walking in the winter should not be longer than 2 hours, but at other times you can do all the time outside.
