In general, you need to keep your ears open so as not to confuse anything in Anadyr and stay in the middle of the night in Yakutsk. .
The return flight was even more fun. This time I flew the airline "Alrosa". There is no scoreboard at Pevek airport. But it is interesting that the online scoreboard of airports, both Pevek and Mirny, from which the flight to Pevek departed and then the return flight was supposed to land, also did not show these flights! They again did not exist. At registration we were given boarding trips to Mirny and warned that they would transfer them to another plane, already to Moscow.Without going to the airport, by bus from the plane to the plane. But what about the landing? Not needed, they say: free seating. That's how it is!
By the way, unlike Boeing and the Superjet of Yakutia, the Alrosa airline flies to Pevek on a Tu-154! No one else in Russia flies on passenger flights on these aircraft, so this is almost a unique opportunity to fly on the outgoing Soviet legend of the aviation industry.
In Mirny we were transplanted to Boeing 737-800, as we were warned, with a free seat: whoever wants to. And then the fun began: when we were seated, the bus delivered about a dozen passengers to the Mirny-Moscow flight, which had the same number as our Pevek-Moscow (it was already shown on-line by the board). Moreover, passengers, as it should be, are boarding, with seats ... Which, of course, are occupied by shift workers who return home from Chukotka. Passengers had to take seats that were left unoccupied ...
Why such oddities with Chukchi flights? The fact is that the majority of passengers are rotation workers working in gold mining. There are very few inhabitants in Pevek and only a small part of them fly on vacation in summer or on business, so the flights are sharpened precisely for rotational workers.Companies-employers buy places for them, therefore they are not visible in the free ticket sale. But why I can not see them on the scoreboard and in the grids of flights, I have no answers.
Local residents can also buy a ticket, through agents in Pevek, if there are empty seats.
