A couple of weeks ago we are with DimachistoprudovThey went to Baikal. This time we had to make beautiful photos of Gusinoozerskaya TPP for Inter RAO. As always, the trip was wonderful. And before I talk about some of the features of the coal station, I will tell you about the state district power station as a whole. By the way, even though I wrote about this, but I will remind you that the GRES stands for State District Power Station. And there is no “hydro” in it, otherwise I was somehow assured by one person that there is a dam in Kashira, where Kashirskaya GRES is located, since this is a hydro station. But! Wikipedia knows such a transcript of a GRES, a hydro recirculation power plant, but it is used very rarely.

Initially, GRES is a heat (condensation) power plant that produces only electrical energy. The first electric power station "Power transmission", today's "GRES-3", was built near Moscow in the city of Elektrogorsk in 1912-1914. on the initiative of engineer R. E. Klasson. The main fuel is peat, power - 15 MW.In the 1920s, the GOELRO plan envisaged the construction of several thermal power plants, among which the most well-known Shaturskaya TPP. Over time, the term “GRES” lost its original meaning (“district”) and in the modern sense means a condensing power plant (KES) of high power (thousands of MW), operating in the integrated power system along with other large power plants. Now, at many power stations, there is equipment for heating network water, and such stations also produce thermal energy.
And now back to our station.
1. Gusinoozyorskaya TPP is a thermal power plant (TPP) with an installed capacity of 1,130 MW, located in the Zagustaiskaya Valley in the town of Gusinoozyorsk, on the shore of Gusiny Lake, Republic of Buryatia. Member of Inter RAO Group since 2012.

2. The station is the largest condensation power plant in Transbaikalia and one of the largest enterprises in the Republic of Buryatia. The first four power units of the station were commissioned from 1976 to 1979, the fifth - in 1988, the sixth - in 1992. From the end of the 90s and after the mass closure of production in the region, the station became the city-forming enterprise of the city.Currently, the company employs more than 1,000 people.

3. The station provides electricity to consumers in Buryatia and neighboring regions, as well as thermal energy from the city of Gusinoozyorsk.

4. The main fuel for the station is the brown coal of Okino-Klyuchevskoye open-pit mine and the Gusinoozersky deposit. Heating oil - fuel oil.

Initially, the station worked on brown coals of the Kholboldzhinsky area of ​​the Gusinoozersky field. In 1981, at the station, a question arose about the quality of the coal in this mine, since the ash content of the fuel significantly increased. It was decided to reconstruct the boilers of the first stage of the station under the new fuel parameters. And at the end of 2000, the Holboldzhinsky coal mine was closed due to low profitability. It was re-activated again in 2006, but the station will not wait - it needs fuel! I had to look for new suppliers. The matter is further complicated by the fact that the station needs coal of certain parameters, since the boiler units are designed only for a certain brand of coal. After a rather long journey, we stopped at two fields - the Okino-Klyuchevsky coal mine and the Gusinoozyorskoye field, but already another mine.From the first, which is located 150 kilometers from the station, coal is transported by rail, and from the Gusinoozersk deposit, by road.
5. The second stage of the station - the fifth and sixth power units. In the photo you see an inclined trestle - after it, coal after preliminary preparation at the coal warehouse enters the bunker compartment.

10. At the bottom of the bunker there are mills. In this case, MMT - Mill hammer tangential. It is intended for grinding to a pulverized state and simultaneous drying of black and brown coal in dust preparation systems of thermal power plants.

17. Control of the boiler-turbine installation is carried out from the block shield. At the station they are located in pairs.

18. In 1993-1996. power unit No. 2 was reconstructed. At the end of October 2013, power unit No. 4 with a capacity of 210 MW was commissioned after reconstruction and technical re-equipment.
