The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, offered Zenit attacker Alexander Kokorin and Krasnodar midfielder Pavel Mamayev, arrested on suspicion of hooliganism, to go to Akhmat football club when they are released.
“Any judicial decision is intended to educate a person through punishment. Usually, having been released, a person finds himself in a new isolation. This time, society is turning away from him, ”Kadyrov wrote in his telegram. - Our goal is to help young people to return to a normal life, painlessly go through a period of adaptation. This in no way serves as an attempt to influence public opinion or the course of the investigation. ”

Krasnodar announced that they are ready to terminate the contract with Mamayev: “Unfortunately, the contracts are drawn up in such a way that they protect professional athletes as much as possible. But we will do everything to achieve this. "According to unofficial data, if the contract is terminated, Mamaev will have to pay the club 30 million euros. "These guys do not play in the Russian national team and, apparently, will never be", - said the Minister of Sports of Russia Pavel Kolobkov.
